AVENUE OF FLAGS
The Springboro Optimist Club invites you to participate in a patriotic, community service program called “The Avenue of Flags.” All proceeds from this fundraiser are used to support our youth and community service projects.
For your contribution of $75 for one year or $110 for two years, we will place a three-by-five foot American flag on a 10-foot flagpole within 15 inches of the curb in front of your home or business on the following five national holidays:
Memorial Day Flag Day July 4th Labor Day-Patriot’s Day Veterans Day
We will deliver and place your flag prior to the holiday. The flags will fly from Memorial Day weekend through July 4th weekend, Labor Day weekend through Patriot’s Day and 3 to 5 days for Veteran’s Day with retrieval the day after the holiday (weather permitting.) We are responsible for replacement of any flag that is damaged or stolen, and we store the flags and the 10-foot flagpoles through out the year.
