ORATORICAL CONTEST
The Springboro Optimist Club has announced the 2026 Oratorical Contest. Students are challenged to deliver a 4-5 minute speech titled “The Moment I Realized I Belonged-My Definition of Community” to compete for two $500 scholarships, plus $300, $200, and $100 cash prizes.
The contest will be held February 24, at 7 p.m. ET at the Class 101 building at 36 S Richards Run Rd, Springboro, OH 45066.
Students must submit their completed application to Karen DeRosa at Class 101 to be eligible to participate in the contest. Contest rules are outlined in the application form below.
